I was not satisfied. I wanted to apply pressure so as not to puncture the ladder and below. The price is good because it also has the extensions, of course, but after about six months, because the opening I have put it on the ladder is large, it started to slip and the mechanism stopped working. I had to make spacers to make it tighter and nail it down to make it stable because it was "coming off". What a pity..

Excellent quality construction. Absolutely safe as in order to open it, you need to both push a lever backwards and lift it slightly upwards! I believe this makes it perfectly secure. I also consider it very good value for money as it includes extensions for larger doors and you don't need to buy them separately like in other companies.
