I only use it for toast, so I have no opinion on whether it can bake waffles or not. The reason I deducted one star is because if I put the toast and close the lid completely, the toast becomes hard (not crispy). To make them crispy, I let the lid simply fall on the toast (not pressing them from the beginning) for 1-2 minutes and then I close the lid completely and let them cook.

The screws that connect the "lid" to the bottom part of the toaster have completely worn out from the base.
The device short circuits and trips the safety switch.

The toaster is cheaply made, like most of them. The biggest problem is that it doesn't toast the bread evenly. Half of it gets burnt and the other half remains untoasted. It toasts bread relatively quickly, but waffles take a very long time.
The advantage is the many alternative plates for different types of cooking.

The Adler AD 3040 Toaster 1200W was purchased on 06/11/2020 - it is very small (but parliamentary) my daughter used it only twice (made waffles), we noticed that the top plates do not heat enough and the lid does not close tightly (it remains loose - it presses a little), so the top part of the waffles remains uncooked. We will continue to evaluate for another month.
Hello again. After a month of use, we noticed that it takes more time to heat up. The toasties turn out fine, crispy, just the way my daughter likes them. She loves them crispy. However, now we will try making different sweets with the different plates it contains, and after the holidays, we will evaluate again.

Για να γίνουν τραγανά, αφήνω το καπάκι να πέσει απλά στα τοστ (να μην τα πιέσει δηλαδή από την αρχή) για 1-2 λεπτά και στην συνέχεια κλείνω τελείως το καπάκι και τα αφήνω να ψηθούν.

The screws that connect the "lid" to the bottom part of the toaster have completely worn out from the base.
The device short circuits and trips the safety switch.

The toaster is cheaply made, like most of them. The biggest problem is that it doesn't toast the bread evenly. Half of it gets burnt and the other half remains untoasted. It toasts bread relatively quickly, but waffles take a very long time.
The advantage is the many alternative plates for different types of cooking.
A mediocre purchase.

Οι βίδες που συνδέουν το "καπακι" με το κάτω μέρος της τοστιέρας ξεχαρβαλώθηκαν τελείως από τη βάση.
Η συσκευή βραχυκυκλώνει και ρίχνει την ασφάλεια.

Η τοστιερα ειναι φθηνη κατασκευη, οπως βεβαια και οι περισσοτερες. Το μεγαλυτερο προβλημα είναι ότι δεν ψηνει τα τοστ ομοιομορφα. Το μισο καιγεται και το αλλο μισο ειναι αψητο. Ψηνει σχετικα γρηγορα τοστ, αλλα οι βαφλες αργουν παρα πολυ.
Πλεονεκτημα οι πολλες εναλλακτικες πλακες, για διαφορετικα ειδη ψησιματος.

The Adler AD 3040 Toaster 1200W was purchased on 06/11/2020 - it is very small (but parliamentary) my daughter used it only twice (made waffles), we noticed that the top plates do not heat enough and the lid does not close tightly (it remains loose - it presses a little), so the top part of the waffles remains uncooked. We will continue to evaluate for another month.
Hello again. After a month of use, we noticed that it takes more time to heat up. The toasties turn out fine, crispy, just the way my daughter likes them. She loves them crispy. However, now we will try making different sweets with the different plates it contains, and after the holidays, we will evaluate again.
το Adler AD 3040 Τοστιέρα 1200W η αγορά έγινε 06/11/2020 - είναι πολύ μικρή ( αλλά βουλευτική ) η κόρη μου χρισιμοποίεισε μόνο δύο φορές ( έφτιαξε βάφλες ) , παρατηρήσαμε ότι η πλάκες του πάνω μέρος δεν ζεσταίνουν αρκετά και το καπάκι του δεν το κλείνει σφιχτά ( παραμένει περιφόριο - λίγο πιέζει ) γι αυτό το πάνω μέρος στους βάφλες παραμένει άψητο . Θα παρακολουθήσουμε ακόμα έναν μήνα και πάλι να αξιολογούμε .
Για σας και πάλι . Για ένα μήνα χρήσης παρατηρήσαμε ότι χρειάζεται περισσότερη η ώρα για να ζεσταίνετε . Τα τοστάκια γίνονται μια χαρά , τραγανά , βγαίνουν όπως ήθελε η κόρη μου . Αγαπάει να γίνουν τραγανά . 'Όμως τώρα να φτιάξουμε διαφορετικά γλυκά , με διαφορετικούς πλάκες που περιέχει , και μετά από τους γιορτές πάλι να αξιολογούμε .
