The air drawn by the vent hood is either expelled through a pipe or recirculated within the hood. For operation with air extraction, a pipe needs to be installed to vent the air outside the kitchen.

It accepts metal filters, which can be removed and washed in the dishwasher or by hand, and do not require frequent replacement. It also accepts carbon filters, which are necessary for recirculation mode. Carbon filters are not washable and it is recommended to replace them every 4-6 months.
