Purchase of this specific item on 27/06/2023 from a large chain of stores. It was worn only one day, along with the purchase of an epix gen 2 51mm on the same day. The combination with the watch is beautiful (after all, it is sold in a luxurious packaging). The same evening, the top part of the strap that connects to the inside had come off! It's a shame because it is made of very good quality leather and has a beautiful design, but it should have been stitched all around. The same issue was mentioned by another buyer.

My friend with the lengthy description said it all and convinced me to buy it. Truly fantastic. I will come back after months for updates on wear and tear, durability, etc., for now, just rely on my photos.

FANTASTIC and no signs of wear, extremely durable. Of course, I also take care of it, I don't get it wet or abuse it too much [like wearing it for sports or when I go to the field].

Beautiful strap, very high quality with genuine leather on both sides. I chose it for the days when I want to wear the Fenix without it looking too sporty with the rubber strap. I ended up wearing the leather strap every day, all day, for the past 2 months. Much more elegant than the previous leather strap, it has discreet stitching in dark brown color and a vertical embossed stripe with the Garmin triangle logo, which clearly adds to the overall look. At first, it is stiff like a strap (normal for new leather) and you think it won't fit well on the wrist and that prolonged use will be uncomfortable. However, after 2-3 days at most, it softens and takes the shape of the wrist. The strap has a very soft (different quality) and dark leather on the inside (to prevent sweat from showing) and the contact with the hand is not bothersome at all even if you wear it all day. Without exaggeration, I find it more comfortable (as a sensation) than the rubber strap (which is already quite soft). I use it with the Fenix 6X Slate Grey and I mention it because I was concerned if the color of the case (almost black) would match the color of the leather strap (very "light" brown). Although aesthetics are completely personal and subjective, however, I consider the result (at least for me) to be perfectly fitting - the black buckle also helps. Negatively, the price is a bit steep, but OK, you are buying 100% leather and original Garmin - so it's somewhat expected. Also, it is not suitable for intense sports activities and for getting wet a lot - because of the nature of the leather, it may leave visible marks (especially since it is light-colored) or the seams may loosen. Personally, I only had to put it under running water and lightly rub it with my hand once to clean mud stains and it came off at one point - where the outer leather connects with the soft inner leather. Of course, you can fix it with some leather glue. However, if it had stitching all around, you might avoid the detachment, as inevitably at some point (sooner or later) it will have to endure water. In summary, a very beautifully designed and colored strap, comfortable and overall well thought out, which I would recommend but I wish it was a bit more durable - to match the overall style of the watches it is used with.
