The Nonin 7500 offers a variety of indicators that ensure reliable measurements:
- Peripheral Circulation PI Bargraph. Color-coded bargraph that helps assess the patient’s condition. An audible tone sounds with each pulse and changes pitch with the patient's saturation level.
- Pulse Quality Index. Detects patient motion or changes in signal quality that may require sensor position stabilization.
- Sensor Fault Index. Indicates when a sensor is disconnected, poorly calibrated, has failed, or is incompatible with the device.
