Onyx Preamplifiers & Analog Signal Processing

The Mackie ProFX30v3 features 24 discrete Onyx microphone preamps, providing up to 60 dB of gain and a wide dynamic range for a clean signal with minimal distortion. Channels 1 and 2 feature Hi-Z switches for directly connecting an electric guitar or bass without the need for an external DI box. In addition, channels 1 through 16 feature dedicated 1-Knob Compression controls, allowing you to quickly adjust the dynamic range of vocals, percussion, and instruments.

GigFX Digital Effects Processor

The console is equipped with the high-definition GigFX digital effects engine, which offers 24 different effects programs. The palette includes a variety of reverbs (room, hall, plate), delays, chorus, flanger, phaser, as well as combinations of effects. Effects can be selected and adjusted using a dedicated rotary selector and a bright LED display on the front panel.

USB Audio Interface 24-bit/192kHz & Direct Monitoring

The built-in USB port allows the mixer to function as a two-way USB Audio Interface with a resolution of 24-bit / 192kHz (2 In / 4 Out). The 2x4 architecture lets you create two independent stereo mixes on your computer and send them back to the mixer, making it easier to manage playback tracks and parallel monitoring (Cue Monitoring). Direct Monitoring lets you monitor the input signal with zero latency.

Signal Routing, Subgroups & Rugged Construction

To meet complex mixing needs, the ProFX30v3 features 4 independent subgroups with separate outputs, as well as 4 AUX sends for connecting external monitors or processors. The chassis is made of steel using Mackie’s Built-Like-A-Tank design, with durable ABS side guards to protect against mechanical stress during transport and live performances.
