    They were faulty from the beginning and within 5 months, 4 out of the 7 I bought burned out.

    I bought 2 pieces 2 months ago and installed them in my extractor fan. Unfortunately, both of them burned out even though they were not in contact with steam as they were placed in a recessed spot with a glass cover that the extractor fan had. They may be good for other uses, but definitely not for use in an extractor fan, at least in my personal experience
