Easily one of the best (if not the best) peated whiskies available on the market at this price. When opened and as long as its level remains high in the bottle, it needs about 20-30 minutes in the glass to open up and reveal its aromas and flavors. Truly exceptional.

  • Smoky but not only that, a truly very nice whiskey from the very good ones available at this price.

I am changing my rating from five to three stars because simply put, the incredible taste has also changed. I noticed the addition of color, which was a big disappointment and greatly affected the taste, as well as the overall experience. They may have changed other ingredients that I cannot discern. What is certain is that from a top-notch isla based on its price, it has turned into a whiskey that is just pleasantly drinkable.

A very good whiskey for its age. It is the smoky (or more accurately, peated) version of Bruichladdich. Increased alcohol content for better taste, natural color, not chill filtered. Overall, it is a respectable whiskey for those who enjoy very "smoky" flavors. Without water, it is medicinal in taste and aroma, like Laphroaig. With water, it opens up and releases hints of citrus, lemon, and in general becomes more fruity, leaning towards the citrus side. It takes time to open up, so leave it in the glass for a while before tasting, unless the bottle has been opened for a while and there is some typical oxidation. Generally, the more the bottle is emptied, the better it becomes. Definitely not meant to be mixed with anything other than water.

Strange smoky flavor that I liked. If you add a small amount of mineral water, it becomes easier to drink

    Smoky whiskey
With a little water, it enhanced even more its aroma and taste. It surpasses more than half of the smoky whiskies of the same series (price, aging), but I have also had better ones
