Such phones with value for money and usage come out once every 10 years. 5.5 years with a purchase at 240 euros and I changed the battery this year (2025), but in the end, technological years are relentless. I bought it in March 2020, now January 2025 and the battery has given up. It lasted almost 5 years WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. Photos, screen, connectivity are excellent. The selfie camera is worth every penny, you take a picture of your face and in the zoom, you can see the pores of your skin. Of course, today's technology makes it outdated, but only in terms of internet-related functions, it has started to struggle. Now I wouldn't buy it (I got it for €220), because with the same money today you can get something more modern. It is outdated, but I have loved it for these 5 years of excellent performance!!

The best thing I have ever bought. It just reached 5 years of use without any problems. Good sound, excellent photos, very good screen, and and and. The only problem now is the battery. It doesn't last a day at all. I wish I could find a new one to buy the same again...

Almost 2 years after the purchase, it is excellent. It still runs smoothly. Okay photos and videos are satisfactory but not outstanding. It performs very well in speed and multi-tasking. Battery with long duration, although now at 1.5 years later it seems like its lifespan has decreased a bit. Fast charging. No issues with calls.

I have had the phone for about a year, and for the price back then, 219€, it was worth it and then some. I have drained the battery, but still, one charge late at night and the next day I am jet!! Very good photo quality compared to the video, although that doesn't mean the average user will be disappointed. The speaker is very good and the screen colors for the money I paid are more than satisfactory. I am referring to the 64Gb version

I deleted an older review and came back with a new one for the last time. I will be brief since the phone is no longer fresh..
Initially, I bought the phone in 11/2019, that is, a year ago for around €210. I never regret buying it. This and the legendary Redmi Note 4 are the best purchases to date from Xiaomi.
As for the Mi 9, it's a decent phone with decent features for the money I paid for it.. I still use it after a year and the phone still runs great even with the MIUI 12 that it recently received.. I believe if it doesn't break due to my own accident, it will last another six months, maybe even a year for fun.. That's it!

I bought the phone about a month ago. I am generally satisfied and especially the 128 MB version is worth the money.

However, it has a strange problem with the wifi. When both the home network is connected and then it shows the message "Connected No Internet." Nevertheless, with the help of the browser, I can connect to websites. However, there is instability in the download even from Google Play. Downloads get stuck and usually do not complete. There are freezes in Viber and Skype. I tried various solutions, disabling wifi assistant, restarting the router, changing the channel, nothing works. When I switch to mobile data, everything is fine.

After 2 months no problems with daily use on social media and photos. Battery easily lasts 1 and a half days.

As a holder of the phone for three months now, I will tell you, given the money I spent, that the phone is worth every last cent of the money I spent.

I have a very positive opinion about its battery, its appearance, the quality of the screen, and the build quality.

I would expect a slightly better video as well as a slightly louder and higher quality speaker.

Time will tell of course, but for now, the phone is value for money to the point that it greatly enhances my perception of the company Xiaomi.

Whatever I say about this phone is an understatement. It may be due to the fact that I come from the Xiaomi Redmi 4X, which was a relatively mediocre phone, and that's why I react this way, but I have also used the Samsung Galaxy S8+ and still, this one is faster. Starting with the phone, it is quite large as it is 6.4 inches. It has a super AMOLED screen that is truly crystal clear. It supports HDR on YouTube and obviously 1080p resolution. I found its speaker satisfactory for both music and calls. During calls, they hear me crystal clear. In terms of gaming, the game Call of Duty runs on medium graphics at a steady 60 fps. Fortnite, for those wondering, runs, but since all Android devices have issues, it's better to avoid it. The phone takes wonderful (for me) photos and videos. It also records video in 4K at 30fps. I got it for €240 and I believe it's the best value for the money.

I bought the phone from here and it doesn't connect to any network (either mobile or wifi). I have sent it back 2 times and they sent it back to me without touching it. Of course, the official representative does not accept to replace it under warranty because they told me that I did not buy it through their network so.... Lost money!!!

For the money, the phone is an oasis.
Coming from a Redmi Note 5, I saw a huge difference in the battery, speed, and of course, the camera.
The phone is visually a gem, but I always put it in an armor case because I have dropped it many times.
Its build quality is solid and resembles a phone worth 400 or 500 euros.
I have really held flagship models from Samsung and Huawei, and I can't understand why someone would spend so much money (even if they have it) to get a flagship when for two and a half hundred euros or less, they can get such a masterpiece like the Lite 9.
Perfect VFM, get it with your eyes closed.

I have had it for 9 months and I can say it is worth the money. 1) metal frame 2) great battery life 3) does not lag 4) the screen has very nice colors 5) worth the money 6) I highly recommend it, it is the best for its price!!!

Very good in quality, the speaker is quite good, photos, video, in very good quality, the only slightly annoying thing is the animation it has on the screen for the fingerprint (the sensor is under the screen) which slightly delays the unlocking, it might also be bypassed I haven't looked into it much. Amazing phone with very good performance in gaming, photography, and calls. It is quite fair for the money and for its category. Finally, I would like to mention that the battery is very good and charges lightning fast. I highly recommend it.

Δεν υπάρχει ΟΎΤΕ μία κατηγορία στην οποία το συγκεκριμένο κινητό να μην ικανοποιήσει κάποιον χρήστη.
Λειτουργία, ταχύτητα, ανταπόκριση, κάμερα (φωτο και βίντεο), οθόνη, διάρκεια μπαταρίας, ομορφιά. Και ό,τι άλλο βάλετε στο μυαλό σας.
Πολλοί είναι στο δίλημμα MI 9 LITE ή REDMI NOTE 8 PRO. Αν η διαφορά τιμής δε σας επηρεάζει τότε η απάντηση είναι μία: MI 9 LITE.
Γιατί;
Τα 2 κινητά σε θέμα λειτουργίας και γενικά είναι περίπου ίδια. Κανείς δε θα δει διαφορά στην ταχύτητα σε καθημερινή χρήση.
ΌΜΩΣ εάν τεθεί θέμα σύγκρισης το MI 9 LITE σου δίνει:
+ οθόνη AMOLED -> ένα σκαλοπάτι πάνω από LCD.
+ πιο αξιόπιστο επεξεργαστή και με καλύτερη διαχείριση μπαταρίας
+ πιο όμορφο με λίγο μικρότερες διαστάσεις.
Κατά τα άλλα ΑΝ η διαφορά τιμής είναι πρόβλημα πιστεύω πως και το redmi note 8 pro είναι πολύ καλή επιλογή.
(Πρώην πολύ ευχαριστημένος κάτοχος σειράς redmi - με Snapdragon όμως...)

What more can I say than what the other reviewers have said.... Overhyped by social media, a phone with notable features in relation to its price when I bought it (220 euros for the 6/128 version). Now it has to compete both in price and in specifications with the Redmi Note 9s.

Excellent VfM phone and very user-friendly. I had done very little research on the phone market before purchasing it, and in the end, the kids who wear out their phones with games turn out to be the best testers.

I am very satisfied with the phone. It is large but manageable with one hand. Its battery is very good. The appearance is perfect, especially the blue. The sound is just fine for my ears. I don't listen to music at full volume. Clear sound. The only negative, if I want to find one, is that the fingerprint sensor is quite slow with tempered glass. But still, it has face unlock. I was between this and the 8pro. I'm crazy happy that I chose this. It’s an incredible little phone. Also, the selfies are amazing. And it runs like a bullet without lagging anywhere. It opens pages instantly.

update: after 5 months, I consider this phone top-notch. Incredible! It works flawlessly with amazing battery life. I have no words.

1 year later. It works like the first day, it runs like a bullet, it has never lagged, my kids have dropped it countless times and it has no scratches, I have used it extensively for surfing and Netflix and it has come out like a champ.

The phone is excellent for its price. It doesn't lag at all. The camera has very good resolution and many options with vibrant colors. The battery lasts me 2 days with full use. The only downside is its speaker, but okay, it's irrelevant with what it offers you for this price.

After the last system update to 11.0.1.0, the game I play freezes and runs frame by frame. I had the Lenovo p2 and it still plays perfectly.
