The Akasa GRM140-AL01-BK fan filter fits 140 mm case fans and traps dust with its fine aluminum mesh. It can be mounted on either the inside or outside of the case. Mounting it on the fan socket side requires a matching rectangular opening. The frame has rounded corners, and the filter slightly reduces fan noise.
The mesh can face the inside of the case to prevent small cables from coming into contact with the fan rotor and blades. The filter is easy to clean and attaches with four screws, which are not included.
