I can't say that it helped me with my neck. This is the first anatomical pillow I've bought, so I don't have a point of comparison. The only thing I'll say is that I overlooked the comments saying that it is very hard as a pillow and I regretted it. It's borderline like I'm sleeping on a brick. Also, another negative is that because I twist the pillow in my sleep depending on the position I sleep in, its shape has become deformed. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
