Dbz Kakarot is the best and most detailed adaptation of the anime to date, including the original series music and the smallest dialogue details. The story is conveyed with love and respect, offering an exceptional narrative, entertaining gameplay, which includes an innovative battle system, and the development of your community for powerups with real characters from the series. A MUST for every fan, especially for those of us who literally grew up with the series, it is a nostalgic journey!
The RPG mechanics are correct and do not confuse or tire, while it is extremely positive that navigation in the game's large open-world is enjoyable. The only negative for me, unfortunately, is some optional missions that lack imagination with the recycling of the same enemies, which is also a "thorn" in this beautiful adaptation. However, this particular negative will easily be forgotten as we already have the first DLC with the addition of additional material and story from Dragon Ball Super! It literally offers countless hours of gameplay, as more additions will come in the future that will make its overall duration endless!
Finally, we see the technical aspect flawless with beautiful graphics, making the experience smooth and enjoyable throughout.
In short, it is a game full of battles, exploration, and truly endless hours of gameplay. Due to its very long duration, which will be further extended with the DLC, combined with the impeccable and faithful storytelling, this game is worth every penny! In an era where 5-hour games are sold for €50-60, this is a good investment!

The game is a bit of a scam in that it was advertised as an open world RPG, which it is to some extent. You have control over large areas that act as mini hub worlds with NPCs providing subquests that could easily be filler for the anime. They are interesting and there are some shops for materials and maps, as well as cooking to boost your statistics.

These activities, such as fishing, apple picking, killing dinosaurs, and random encounters (for leveling up), do not give you enough open world experience because at some point you have to follow the story and cannot deviate too much. Even the map will remind you to complete the main objective, so it is not as open as advertised because it will inevitably make you follow the story relatively quickly.

The battles are a bit like Xenoverse and something from Naruto Ultimate Ninja. Sometimes the camera does not give you the best view when fighting and it is not easily controlled. But executing supers and combos is very easy.

The story is excellent, perhaps the most detailed ever presented in a video game, and the movement in the world truly makes you feel like you are in the game's world.

You control the main characters of the series and there is no multiplayer. I have not finished it yet, but it is said to be 30 hours for the main story and 100 hours to do everything.

I believe it is worth buying if you are a hardcore fan, even now, but it would be wiser to get it when it drops to around $40.

Good effort, perhaps the concept needed to be more complex because the world seems simplistic.
