Description

SLC cache technology for enhanced performance and longer lifespan

Supports Intel® Smart Response Technology (ISRT)

Free download of SP toolbox software for efficient device monitoring

Supports multiple functions, such as S.M.A.R.T. monitoring system and ECC technology for greater data transmission security

Supports TRIM command and NCQ

Extremely compact for modern devices

Designed with an M.2 2280 form factor (80 × 22 x 3.5 mm), the small-sized and case-less SSD A55 M.2 2280 fits perfectly into tiny and slim devices such as ultrabooks, tablet computers, and mini PCs.

Intel® SRT Supported for Flexible Configuration

Not only fast, but also smart! Intel® Smart Response Technology (ISRT) allows flexible computer configuration for improved overall performance. It automatically detects and stores the applications you use most frequently on the SSD, while leaving your hard drive full of storage capacity. Thus, you can combine a small-capacity SSD with a high-capacity HDD and enjoy an upgrade solution that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Free Download of SSD Health Monitor Tool - SP Toolbox Software

Easily monitor the health of your new SSD with our free download software – SP Toolbox. Perform performance tests on the A55 M.2 2280, get an overall operation assessment, or check detailed information about your device, including used space, device temperature, total bytes written, and much more.

Guaranteed reliability and stability

The A55 M.2 2280 supports TRIM, NCQ, and SMART commands. It also ensures system stability and overall reliability with built-in error correction (ECC), Wear Leveling, and bad block management.

Guys, for its kind (it doesn't have DRAM) and for its price, it seems more than fine to me. I wanted it for external storage in an m.2 to USB 3.1 enclosure. Filling it with large video files, transferred from another traditional HDD, it maintained a steady write speed of 110 Mb/sec throughout the process, which is as fast as the other drive could send it. Therefore, it seems that the SLC caching it does works effectively in this case. Also, the most important thing I would say is that it doesn't get too hot, unlike almost all the other m.2 SSDs I have put in this enclosure, which clearly reached higher temperatures. One of them, during the writing of large files, literally heated up to 95°C. As an internal drive for Windows, etc., it will be OK if your requirements are not high. Its speeds in sequential read-write are very good (the measurement was done in the external enclosure), but in 4K and 4K-64Thrd it is relatively slow due to the lack of DRAM. Therefore, it will indeed be a very good upgrade if it replaces a regular mechanical hard drive, but it cannot be compared in terms of responsiveness to an SSD that has DRAM, especially in demanding situations like gaming, etc. So, if you have high needs or requirements, it's better to go for drives with DRAM, but they cost almost twice as much. Also, because I just bought it, I cannot have an opinion on its durability over time. But as a first impression, it exceeded my expectations, at least for its kind and the job I wanted it for. Attention! The drive is m.2 SATA and not NVMe. Many people confuse them and end up surprised. Also, the measurements I have attached were done in an external enclosure and not inside the motherboard. Inside the computer, they will be clearly better

I replaced another SSD that had a problem due to its age, and the speed is much worse. Now in the task manager, I see 100% disk active time with the slightest activity for several seconds. The laptop's responsiveness is poor, while there was no issue with the previous disk.
