Electronic speed control maintains a constant no-load speed of 12,000 rpm, while the cutting depth can be adjusted precisely in 0.1 mm increments. Chips are ejected to either the right or left side.

The planer features an ergonomic, non-slip handle, a lock-on switch on both sides and an aluminium gear cover. The front base has three grooves and protects the workpiece. It can be connected to a dust extractor and used with an edge chamfering attachment.
