Although I had a coffee shop for 26 years, at home I always made do with a Nespresso. At some point I got tired of not drinking good coffee, so I started searching for a machine for quality coffee. I finally settled on the Barista Express, which I received yesterday. I had no trouble at all finding the right grind and after 2-3 cups I had the right result. It seems to be a quality construction and time will tell from here on. First impressions are positive, so we'll see.
P.S. Finally, I am drinking quality coffee now and I get to choose the one I want and not the watery stuff from the capsules

The subject of coffee is like that of sound (audiophiles) and so many other things that cannot easily be limited (not to mention that those who benefit don’t want it to be), there is no absolute. So, when it comes to espresso machines, no matter how much money you spend, there will be a thousand people who will say there are a thousand other machines that are better.
If we forget for a moment all of the above and the psychological game that ego plays with people, for those who want a bit of involvement in making their coffee (e.g., the capsule process is not enough/they don’t like it) and want to have the ability to drink coffee better than what we get at most cafes nowadays, with this machine and the coffee of your choice you can get a very nice result, and that first morning coffee will be exactly what it should be, and that’s not insignificant at all. The build and attention to detail are where they should be for the money they’re asking (especially when it’s on sale), and the number of accessories is complete. Check out the last one, there’s now a photo of the accessories as well.
And to close as I started, there may be better solutions for the same or less money for the different wants and needs of some people, and that’s OK. This particular one is a VERY good choice for the reasons I described and for those who want something similar, you WON’T regret it for a moment.

Having had the Delonghi Dedica for the last 5 years, with which I was absolutely satisfied, I decided to upgrade in order to also have a grinder. The machine is fantastic!!! It is truly worth its money as long as you put in the effort. Until I achieved the right grind and extraction, I went through a box of coffee but that was to be expected. At this point, the coffee I make is much better than many coffee shops. The only negative is the water waste. To heat up, the machine needs to run water which goes into its collection tray. For me, since I use bottled water, it's a problem because I throw away about 1 liter, maybe more, of water per week, but from what I understand, more or less all coffee machines of this type have the same issue because they heat up in this way.

What can you say about this one...
Luxury but also money well spent.
          The package has it all.
It quickly makes you forget the cheaper solutions when it comes to espresso.

Everyone told me before I bought it that with a home coffee maker I wouldn't get the quality of coffee that a professional one gives....
And this machine came to prove them all wrong.
After watching some videos about its settings and behavior, I have managed to make not just good but the best coffee I have ever had. The coffees outside seem like broth to me. I will never buy coffee outside again, not even for fun. It is worth it and more for me.

                Coffee’s on me...

              • Although I had a coffee shop for 26 years, at home I always made do with a Nespresso.

              • The subject of coffee is like that of sound (audiophiles) and so many other things that cannot easily be limited (not to mention that those who benefit don’t want it to be), there is no absolute. So, when it comes to espresso machines, no matter how much money you spend, there will be a thousand people who will say there are a thousand other machines that are better.
