Although I had a coffee shop for 26 years, at home I always made do with a Nespresso. At some point I got tired of not drinking good coffee, so I started searching for a machine for quality coffee. I finally settled on the Barista Express, which I received yesterday. I had no trouble at all finding the right grind and after 2-3 cups I had the right result. It seems to be a quality construction and time will tell from here on. First impressions are positive, so we'll see.
P.S. Finally, I am drinking quality coffee now and I get to choose the one I want and not the watery stuff from the capsules

Owner for 2 days now at €550. I may have spent half a kilo of coffee beans until I learned how to use it and managed to get the espresso to my liking, but in the end the result justifies you. Internal grinder at 4 and on the side I have it at 10. I have the grinding quantity at 3 and I also adjusted the extraction quantity a bit higher. Now time will tell

Very good machine, you definitely need to experiment at first in order to make a decent espresso. Nevertheless, the first impressions are positive. The last successful espresso reminded me quite a bit of the espressos I have had in cafes abroad.
As for the steam wand for frothing milk, I don't think it is weak or bad. With 0% milk, the froth was made very easily.

Having had the Delonghi Dedica for the last 5 years, with which I was absolutely satisfied, I decided to upgrade in order to also have a grinder. The machine is fantastic!!! It is truly worth its money as long as you put in the effort. Until I achieved the right grind and extraction, I went through a box of coffee but that was to be expected. At this point, the coffee I make is much better than many coffee shops. The only negative is the water waste. To heat up, the machine needs to run water which goes into its collection tray. For me, since I use bottled water, it's a problem because I throw away about 1 liter, maybe more, of water per week, but from what I understand, more or less all coffee machines of this type have the same issue because they heat up in this way.

This machine is worth every last euro it costs. I've had it for 6 months and make 5-6 coffees a day (both cold and hot), the result is always perfect. I highly recommend it.

I have owned the machine for about 2 years. It is definitely worth the money, even if its price has gone up. A few tips for potential buyers:

1. Experiment a lot with different beans and don't be discouraged if your first coffees don't turn out well. The result will reward you.
2. Strictly adhere to its cleaning and use it according to the instructions. It is a good, but sensitive machine.

It had an issue around the one-year mark, but I sent it for free through Skroutz, it was repaired, and it works perfectly. I hope it lasts for many more years.

The coffee you make will definitely be better than 95% of the shops out there, and most importantly, it will be the same coffee every time, without variations.

What can you say about this one...
Luxury but also money well spent.
The package has it all.
It quickly makes you forget the cheaper solutions when it comes to espresso.

Everyone told me before I bought it that with a home coffee maker I wouldn't get the quality of coffee that a professional one gives....
And this machine came to prove them all wrong.
After watching some videos about its settings and behavior, I have managed to make not just good but the best coffee I have ever had. The coffees outside seem like broth to me. I will never buy coffee outside again, not even for fun. It is worth it and more for me.

I have it since 2020, simply super thousands of coffee doses until today, my best purchase.. I want to have them serviced for cleaning and I don't know where to turn. If someone can tell me

I've had it for a year.
Everything was perfect until the grinder broke.
Since July, I've been trying to find a solution since officially it doesn't exist in Greece.
We're waiting for a replacement from America. 2 months without a coffee maker.

If I had to do it again, I wouldn't make the mistake of getting a coffee maker with a built-in grinder.

So, be very careful. After-sale support... simply non-existent. It's just a matter of luck.

This one was returned and exchanged for the Sage Barista Pro model.
After about 6 months, this one also had a problem with the grinder.
Never again Sage. Anyone who wants to make home coffee should go for a grinder and coffee maker set from companies that truly know the field.
That is, for around 1000 euros, you can get a strong set for coffee. And always reliable with representatives here in Greece.

It is excellent. It takes a little time to find the settings, but the coffee it makes is comparable to very good cafes. You break even in 3-4 months and you won't buy coffee outside again. If you find a quality variety, you will be fully satisfied. 3 tips that might help, although it depends on the variety, are: the grind of the beans at 6 to 7. Set the dose to 2 hours (assuming it's a clock) and press the button the first time to let the water run before you insert the coffee. I highly recommend it, and if you think about it, you save a lot.

I have it for 1 week, and it seems like a very good machine. At first, I had to adjust the grinder, but after a few tests, I achieved the result I wanted. Moreover, there are many videos on YouTube that help you a lot. The big question is what kind of coffee bean you should use. In the market, there are varieties for all tastes. I have tried different varieties, and I will probably try others too! Maybe the best way to start is to get the same variety as the coffee shop you like.

A very good coffee machine makes perfect cappuccino. Now, for espresso, I am still in the experimental stage with the grinder. For now, I have the grinder set at 4 and the grinder amount at 4 o'clock produces very good quality and very good coffee. I am a former barista and have some knowledge about coffee. I can say that if you have no idea about coffee preparation, you may find it difficult to achieve good results since there is no review video with Greek data (espresso, cappuccino, etc.) of the coffee on YouTube. I bought it yesterday after reading the comments. 555 euros. One thing I have to say, I will never buy coffee from outside again, simply PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing you have to do, because it doesn't say it, is to remove the cover on the top of the coffee and place the knife in position 4, always, because in some coffee blends it doesn't reach the right temperature, and no one knows how to tell you that.!!!!!!!! I have had it for 3 months now, today 22/11/21, with LABAZA GOLD ORO coffee for FREDO, not hot, for hot BARISTA LABAZA of course it's a matter of taste, I just won't ever buy READY-MADE COFFEE again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is essential that you enjoy the whole process, and watching many videos on YouTube is very important for adjusting the Grinder, which is crucial, and for everything else.

Now I can make coffee very easily with the settings that it gives you the ability to adjust!! I recommend it for those who love coffee as much as the production process!
