After several haircuts/shaves:

It cuts just fine, at least my own hair. I have it set at 9mm and it cuts perfectly well even without the turbo. If I'm in more of a hurry, I use it.

Beard. It could be better. The blades are a bit rougher than I expected, so I've "cut" myself 2-3 times. If you find the right angle of contact with your face, it's fine.

The good thing is that even if it stops halfway (classic battery failure), you can continue using it plugged in.

Also, it cleans very easily and a big advantage is that it can be washed. You blow it, wash it, and it becomes brand new and ready for next time.

The positives are that it is waterproof and that if it runs out of battery and you plug it in to charge, you can continue using it.

very good machine if you want for beard especially many levels to choose from until you find the length...as far as the head is concerned it didn't drive me crazy..at the level I have my hair almost bald it doesn't do a good pass it kind of hurts too I can say...now for longer hair I have no image..

Yes, very good indeed, as the other reviewers say, but don't forget. Its primary use is for hair, not for beards. You can shave beards too, you have to adjust the length to 2mm, then with another attachment from 3mm to 15mm in 1mm increments. The problem is the width of the blade, it is too large and makes trimming a tiring task. We won't even discuss details.

I had a model quite older than this Philips one and until today, 10 years later, if the plastic attachment that adjusts the length didn't break, it would work perfectly. I bought this specific model and from the first use, it seemed like a premium device to me. It cuts much better and with greater precision than the old one, the battery lasts longer than I need for trimming and shaving. Very good result by far.
