1 year and something of life.. The night mode messed up and now it triggers motion detection alerts for no reason.. Also, in an old apartment building, the installation is a bit tricky if the appropriate amber lights are not provided. So, if you want to convert it, be aware of that.. That's it..

I tried others and they didn't work. It connected easily, works with an external 12v power source and not a battery combined with a charger, which is very useful. Easy application and very good image. Same functions as a security camera with motion detection, etc

Like the other peripherals, it is very good. The disadvantage (- minus the star) is that automation programming or scenario motion detection is nonexistent - I suppose it is the "Chinese in place of motion detect" - so you cannot activate detection from there or combine it with other events (unacceptable). Of course, you can manually activate it or from the device settings, set up an alarm, etc. The sound is also adjusted from the setup of the Nedis Smartlife application in the notifications menu - long bell notification, while the alarm notification is short bell rings. If it does not recognize your bell, create a room from Profile, Home management, Room Management, and add, for example, Front Door, then place the device in the room... It activates in the lights of the apartment building. But you can still answer when you are away from home. A little extensive comment, but I think it's worth it...

Update: 6/6/22 I randomly entered the programming menu and a pleasant surprise awaited me. I don't know if it happened after the email I sent them; maybe they fixed the programming with several options that now work with other automations. So, five stars instead of the four I had given. A good purchase if you find it useful

Very good but it cannot be connected to replace the simple button that rings the bell. It only works with its own USB bell and the mobile phone. Also, the notifications it sends are very sensitive and it sends a notification when the light in the apartment building hallway is turned on or off.

I have it for 8 months now! Honestly, for its price, it is the best available. It doesn't require any subscriptions and it even accepts a micro SD card up to 128 GB for local recording (the 128 GB SD card records in a loop for 36 days). You can be away from home, have someone ring the doorbell, and talk/see them. It can be easily mounted on the wall with 2 screws and you can use the cables from the old doorbell, but be careful, it requires a transformer to work. The easiest solution is to use the existing internal doorbell in the house, which usually has a built-in transformer (but check it...), make a small modification to it, and it will work just fine without needing to purchase a transformer.

Now, for an internal doorbell (because it is not compatible with the classic one), you can either use your mobile phone or get the corresponding USB internal doorbell, which has 4 sounds (without the ability to add more), but its volume is moderate.

The mobile application is good and connected instantly.

The only negative aspect is that in order to connect it to the mobile phone (or the USB internal doorbell) and receive notifications, you need to keep the Wi-Fi of the house permanently on. Also, it raises the temperature quite a bit during the summer.
