The "Memoirs" that Kolokotronis dictated to G. Tertsetis stand out as a treasure trove of speech, patriotism, observation, simplicity, liveliness, and pure popular wisdom. Yet the state ignores them. It has never "thought" to include the thoughts and hearts of the youth by making them part of our school curriculum, as one of the essential readings.
