The Compact electronic instant water heater DCE-C Trend saves space while providing hot water to one or multiple points of use, such as a shower, sink, or hand basins. Suitable for installation in residential, commercial spaces, or public facilities. Pressure-tested device, can be used with all commercially available taps.
Applications
The Compact electronic instant water heater DCE-C Trend saves space while providing hot water to one or multiple points of use, such as a shower, sink, or hand basins. Suitable for installation in residential, commercial spaces, or public facilities. Pressure-tested device, can be used with all commercially available taps.
Equipment
Compact instant water heater electronically controlled with 2i technology. Guaranteed precise temperature up to maximum performance. Compensation for pressure fluctuations to prevent sudden temperature changes. The hot water temperature is stable at 55°C or 131°F.
Effectiveness
Energy and water savings up to 20% through electronic power control with 2i technology (compared to hydraulic instant water heaters). Two sensors ensure the supply of the desired temperature. Thus, only the amount of energy that is actually required is consumed, resulting in maximum energy efficiency, without losses in storage tanks or pipelines. Suitable for preheated water (e.g., in combination with a solar water heater or heat pump).
Installation
The PROFI-RAPID installation system guarantees easy and quick installation.
Easy and stable wall mounting: The immediate installation through the detachable back of the device allows for easy compensation of deviations. The device cover opens easily with a central screw.
Network pressure range 2-10 Bar: Operates even in high-pressure water supply networks.
Quick water connection: 1/2" brass water connections, placed at the bottom for installation on finished walls or installation on unfinished walls. Installation on unfinished walls with non-visible water connections is possible with optional accessories. Suitable for connection with plastic pipes (follow the manufacturer's instructions).
Flexible electrical connection: Electrical connection at the bottom on unfinished walls. Electrical connection at the bottom or side on finished walls. Error analysis with diagnostic LED lights. Option to select maximum power internally.
Protection degree IP 25: suitable for safe installation in bathrooms and showers. The complete internal assembly can be removed from the rear support frame for very easy access.
Security
"Bare Wire" type resistance system, suitable for hard and soft water. Multi-stage electronic safety with air bubble detection. Overheating protection.
Benefits for Your Home
- Electronic control for good energy efficiency and stable, precise temperature supply
- The outlet temperature is permanently limited to 55°C
- Suitable for use in low-pressure areas
- The maximum power can be adjusted internally
What is an instant water heater?
The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It heats only the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts in the resistance and other components.
It operates with electricity and is single-phase.
How It Works
The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the cold water inlet should not be too low.
The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are preset so that one can use the hot water directly, without needing to mix it with cold water.
The maximum temperature that can be reached for hot water production is 55 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 5 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.
Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters
- It is small in size and does not take up much space.
- There are no energy losses, as only the water that is used at that moment is heated. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In the classic water heater, the hot water that is not used goes to waste.
- The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold, as happens in the classic water heater. Thus, we also save water, in addition to electricity.
- We do not need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water runs in a few seconds. The classic water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.
- The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the tap open, we will have hot water.
