The purpose of the author and the publishers is simple yet essential: to provide the Greek and English-speaking audience with a user-friendly, reliable, and as complete as possible dictionary of the two languages. A dictionary in which the user can quickly and accurately find the word they are looking for in the other language. 

For this purpose, we consciously limited the elements that characterize a practical dictionary and focused all our attention on lexical completeness and the recording of the semantic multiplicity of each word by providing as many translations as possible, especially in the Greek-English section. Thus, we hope to offer a necessary and useful tool.
