The organization of bees into societies and their way of life has piqued the interest of scientists for further study and deeper understanding of their lifestyle. The origin of beekeeping is lost in the depths of centuries. Humans have exploited bees since their first appearance on earth, using their various products and the services they provide through pollination of various plants, both cultivated and wild. Despite the long coexistence of bees and humans, the latter has not managed to domesticate them.
