My current scientific endeavor, enhanced and supported by bibliographic references, was conducted in 2008 at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Patras and submitted as postdoctoral research under the guidance of Professor Christos Terezis, an expert in Ancient Greek and Byzantine Philosophy.
Of course, my engagement with the text of the 7th Letter began during my undergraduate studies, as a part of it constituted the research and writing product of the thesis I completed.
My insistence, therefore, on the critical analysis of the 7th Letter leads me to the conclusion that it is a text which embodies the character of a "strict," as G. Morrow argues, summary of Platonic thought.
On the other hand, I believe that the philosophical scope of this text will not deprive any scholar undertaking a new interpretative approach of that initially "provocative" scent of Platonic discourse.
