Lemuel Gulliver loves traveling. When the ship on which he serves as a doctor sinks, he is captured by the tiny Lilliputians and taken to the capital of Lilliput. There, he helps them face their enemies, the Blefuscudians, but escapes to avoid the wrath of the queen and finds a way to return to his homeland. However, he is not more fortunate on his next journey, as his companions abandon him in the land of Giants. There, his owner displays him as a curiosity to earn money and eventually sells him to the queen.
