In the presence of this work, I have no intention of boring the reader with verbal maneuvers and endless (perhaps foolish, for similar unique moments) literature. What could one possibly add when Y. Papaioannou himself introduces his texts? (. . .)
The perspective of this effort was and is only one: by completing the reader's contact with the work, to have as much information as possible about the peculiar events that abound in the known and unknown pages of rebetiko history, on the one hand, and of course, extremely about the role played in it by one of the fateful figures, Giannis Papaioannou.
