In this edition, the following improvements have been made:
- In the Introduction, at the end, the rules regarding the quantity of the penultimate syllable of barytone verbs have been recorded.
- Additional verbs have been listed, and forms found in Tragedians or later authors taught in Gymnasium have been recorded.
- Very irregular verb forms, such as e.g. "egrigora," "edidoka," "enenocha," etc., have been recorded as entries with a reference to the verbs they belong to.
- The quantity of the thematic vowel of the penultimate syllable has been noted only for exceptions to the rules regarding the quantity of the penultimate syllable or verbs not mentioned there. For the quantity of the penultimate syllable of all other verbs, the reader must refer to these rules.
- The book has been supplemented with etymological information.
