The sixth volume of the Collected Works of J. V. Stalin contains the writings produced in 1924. In 1924, the Bolshevik Party and the Soviet people continued their creative work for the construction of socialism under Stalin's leadership without V. I. Lenin.

Stalin rallied the Party around the Central Committee and mobilized it in the struggle for the construction of socialism in the USSR. The works included in this volume played a significant role in the ideological defeat of Trotskyism and other anti-Leninist groups, in the work of defending, establishing, and developing Leninism.
