The geni@l klick is aimed at beginners with no prior knowledge. The educational material consists of three volumes and follows the level descriptions of the Council of Europe. The first volume of this German language learning series is targeted towards teenagers and covers level A1. The material guides beginners without prior knowledge through three levels: A1, A2, and B1, while preparing students for the Fit in Deutsch 1, Fit in Deutsch 2, and B1 exams. The rich chapters are nine pages long in each book and include many encouraging speaking opportunities. The clearly structured learning path offers consistent progress and facilitates teaching in heterogeneous groups of students. The topics and presentation, supported by two different illustrators and realistic photographs, are youthful and contemporary.
