And I also gave you the explanation of certain paragraphs of the Revelation, but know that you will not benefit from these explanations unless you have first worked to acquire within you the true foundations of spiritual life. Because it is not enough to intellectually understand all these symbols, you must bring them to life within you. And as long as you have not done a work of purification beforehand, a work of self-mastery and inner elevation, you will remain outside the miracles of the Revelation."
