"The Book of Cinema" brings together on its pages 500 + 10 individuals from around the world who have left a significant mark on the history of cinema.

From the pioneers of silent films to the contemporary stars of the screen, this book covers the entire history of the film industry as much as possible, featuring actors, directors, producers, tycoons of major studios, composers and cinematographers, costume designers and makeup artists, special effects creators, and animators.

Each individual is marked by the photograph of a work in which they excelled, some key biographical information, and a brief informative text.

"The Book of Cinema" - which in its Greek edition has been updated through 2001 and also includes 10 Greeks who made international careers - helps the reader gain a comprehensive view of the complex cinematic landscape with a system of references that connects the individuals to each other.
