The only thing I can imagine is that the "positive reviews" come from the sellers themselves. The product does nothing more than make the beard oily as if you haven't washed it for a month. It does not make it softer in any way or repair split ends. Not even immediately after application. Overall, I would say it is the worst purchase I have made in recent years. Additionally, if you make the mistake of touching your mustache and then touching your eye... you have a problem. Finally, the "scent" of it is (at least for me) repellent (like mint). Perfect, not greasy at all and has a nice scent, like mint with wood but the wood is not overpowering. I think most people will like it
