I have played all the GT games and I don't like the direction the series has taken with this particular sport. The graphics are beautiful as always, the sound is improved but not amazing! The game now focuses only on online play, at first it didn't even have a career mode and they added it later with an upgrade, but it's still small and uninteresting. The opponents are very easy and from the first round you are in first place if you know the game, so there is no competition. Some challenges, like the licenses in the older GT games where you would sweat for the gold... here you can easily get gold on every attempt. What made GT special was the car improvements, turbo, suspension, etc... and now they are gone, it simply has a weight bar and a performance bar for you to adjust and compete in the category (rules) and race online. There are very few cars and the obsession with GT Vision tiresome since they are uninteresting and their physics are not realistic. The tracks are few, very few for GT. So, with all that being said, I don't like the direction the game has taken, but let's not be ungrateful because the GT series has its quality no matter what. And lastly, the biggest mistake that I can't leave uncommented is the following, the progress of the game (the save) can only be done online, which means that without internet, no matter how much you play, it can't be saved, the game is lost. It's a crime.

I am a fan of the Gran Turismo series from the very first game on the PlayStation 1. The fact that you could start your career and gradually reach the top, along with the ability to make improvements to the cars, was the characteristic that made the series stand out. In Gran Turismo Sport, the campaign is completely missing. The available vehicles are very few, and the fact that you have to be constantly connected to the internet has a disastrous result. However, there are no technical problems, and I should note that I am playing the game on the PS5. Fortunately, I bought it for only 10 euros. Another observation, purely personal opinion, is that the handling of the vehicles seems somewhat monotonous - neutral - without being truly realistic. This is due to the fact that I am also playing Forza Motorsport 6 on Xbox at the same time. The differences in feel are chaotic. If you watch a video on YouTube, you will understand what I mean. Before I give my opinion, I would like to tell you not to pay attention to the comments that say the game does not have Single Player. These are comments from people who bought the game years ago. To understand what I mean, in 2016 (the year the game was released), it was a game without Single Player. It focused only on Online. Since 2019, an Update was made and a career mode was added, worthy (and better) than that of the previous Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 6. And now, in my opinion:
Graphics: Extremely realistic.
Sound: In non-racing cars, it is good. In racing cars, it could be better, but yes...
Game content: It has fewer tracks and fewer cars than previous Gran Turismo games. The reason for this is that it is a Half-Edition version of Gran Turismo 7, which will be released in 2022.
Single Player: Besides the career mode added through the Update, it also has a driving school, which means that if you are playing a racing game for the first time, it is ideal for you.
Realism in driving: Excellent! Especially with a steering wheel, it feels real!
Online Multiplayer: Perhaps the best we have ever seen in a racing game. However, you should know that Gran Turismo will now mainly focus on Online. The reason for this is that recently, Gran Turismo was recognized as an OLYMPIC SPORT! If you don't believe me, look it up on the internet. I should also mention that in order to play Online, you need to have a paid PS PLUS subscription. In most of the comments I read, they said that you always need to have PS PLUS to play Online. However, I paid once and when my subscription expired, I could still continue playing. I don't know what will apply to you...
Conclusion: I would say it is a game worth buying. However, we are still waiting for the release of Gran Turismo 7...

I have to say that I have been a fan of Gran Turismo since the PlayStation 1 era, and it made me love racing games in their most realistic form (e.g. Need for Speed), which I find indifferent. Since the Xbox 360 (PS3) era, I made the switch and started playing Forza Motorsport, and ever since, I always saw Gran Turismo lagging behind in everything. Recently, after playing Forza 7 on my Xbox One, which was very good, I decided to go back to PlayStation and try out the latest installment of the series, Sport.

Gameplay: mediocre, as I believe that in many cases, the reactions of the cars (especially rear-wheel drive) are very stiff and unrealistic.

Graphics: very good, although Forza was better.

Sound: bad, maybe I miss Forza again, but you can hardly hear the car's character except for a few exceptions.

Multiplayer: Sport excels in this aspect. It has many modes and official FIA races.

You can't upgrade your cars as you want, only with certain levels that you unlock, but the pure tuning is missing.

It emphasizes the behavior of each driver in the multiplayer, so that you race like a human, and this is very positive.

Conclusion: For the 10€ I paid, it is definitely worth it and recommended. However, if I had paid 40-50€, I might have been a bit disappointed, as I expected more from Polyphony Digital

I have both a PS3 and a PS4. On the PS3, I have Gran Turismo 6 (the previous Gran Turismo) and on the PS4, I have Gran Turismo Sport.

Things in which Gran Turismo Sport is better than Gran Turismo 6:
Greater realism in driving (especially with a steering wheel), an excellent way to customize the car's bodywork, car modifications are done with maximum precision, and there are races that you can customize as you wish (adjusting the number of opponents, difficulty level, tire wear, fuel consumption, and more).

Things in which they are both the same:
Graphics, sound quality, both are equally enjoyable.

Things in which Gran Turismo 6 is better than Gran Turismo Sport:
Gran Turismo 6 has many more tracks than Gran Turismo Sport, more car categories (NASCAR, WRC cars, and others), more car brands, it does not necessarily require internet to function (except for online races), and online races in Gran Turismo Sport require a subscription while they are free in Gran Turismo 6.
In my opinion, Gran Turismo Sport is wonderful, but I believe that those who play Gran Turismo 6 will be disappointed when they play Gran Turismo Sport.

2019 και κυκλοφορει ηδη καιρο, δεν γνωριζω πως ηταν σε "πληροτητα" μολις ειχε βγει.
Τωρα το δανειστηκα απο φιλο, και μετα που φορτωσα το update κλπ, ειναι πληρεστατο.
Διπλωματα, challenges κλπ, ολα καλα! Ισως παιρνεις σχετικα ευκολα χρυσο, ισως εχω βελτιωθει εγω πλεον, δεν ξερω.
Γραφικα απιστευτα! Ηχος πολυ καλος. Και τα background music αν και το χαμηλωνω, μια χαρα τραγουδακια ακουγονται!
Ομως..... Εχουμε 2019 και ακομα τα loading times κουραζουν. Επισης καταλαβαινω οτι εχουμε οντως 2019 και ειμαστε ολοι "συνδεμενοι" αλλα δε με τρελαινει που αν δεν συνδεθεις δε μπορεις να κανεις save, και μαλιστα δε σου το λεει 1-2 φορες, σου ΣΠΑΕΙ τα νευρα με τα pop-ups συνεχεια!!
Τα αυτοκινητα ειναι λιγα. Για Gran Turismo ειναι λιγα. Οι κατηγοριες αγωνων ειναι σε γενικες γραμμες οπως παλια. Δεν εχω προχωρησει αρκετα να δω με τους "αντοχης" κλπ τι γινεται.
Παντως ξεθαψα προσφατα το GT4 και το PS2, και το παιχνιδι ητανε απιστευτο. Προφανως τα γραφικα ητανε ελεϊνα σε σχεση με σημερα, αλλα σαν παιχνιδι απιστευτο σε πληροτητα, σε ολα.
Παντως το καινουριο θα επρεπε να ειναι καλυτερο. Δεν ειναι ομως σε καμμια περιπτωση κακο, ουτε μετριο.
