This dictionary is the first Russian-modern Greek dictionary of such size to be published in the Soviet Union. The dictionary is intended for Greeks and Russians who are learning Russian or modern Greek, respectively; primarily, it will be useful for translating literary, socio-political, and popular scientific literature from Russian to modern Greek.
