This edition is a composition based on the above thoughts. It is the result of three years of persistent and systematic research in private archives and collections, in libraries and museums in Greece and abroad, in the press of the time. Above all, it is a precious anthology of personal testimonies, in the form of letters from the front and from the rear, war diaries, and oral memories.
