The Makita HP333DZ is a cordless impact drill driver with a slide-on Li-ion battery connection and a two-speed mechanical gearbox. It features a battery protection circuit against over-discharge, high temperature and current overload. Its design includes a different type of bearing for improved durability under load, and it is suitable for screwdriving, drilling and impact drilling in masonry.

It features an electric brake, a variable-speed trigger with reversible rotation, a keyless chuck and an ergonomic handle with a soft grip. The overall length is 193 mm. The sound pressure level is 82 dB(A) and the sound power level is 93 dB(A), with a tolerance of 3 dB(A). Vibration is 13 m/s² during impact drilling in concrete and 2.5 m/s² during drilling in metal, with a tolerance of 1.5 m/s².
