The Planet GSD-1008HP unmanaged Layer 2 switch supplies power over PoE+ to devices such as IP cameras, access points and IP phones. It has 8 10/100/1000T Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ support, up to 30 W per port and a total PoE power budget of 120 W. The 2 Gigabit uplink ports connect the switch to the rest of the network.

The built-in DIP switch selects Standard, VLAN or Extend mode. VLAN mode isolates ports, helping to limit broadcast storms, while Extend mode supports PoE transmission over distances of up to 250 m.
