Born from the author's long engagement with teaching quantum physics, this book attempts a new approach to teaching the subject at the most introductory possible level: the level of general physics.

The main element of this new approach is the modular structure. The continuum of the curriculum is broken down into a large number of autonomous lessons that are also independently examinable. This way, the student can check on the spot whether they have understood or not by solving a small number of multiple-choice exercises.

The educational approach of the book also significantly differs from that of modern physics textbooks in that: here the presentation of applications does not have the usual encyclopedic character - where the main emphasis is on the presentation of information and not on understanding - but aims to clearly highlight the fundamental quantum mechanisms behind them.

The main purpose of the book is to teach quantum concepts through their applications. The book is primarily aimed at second-year students of science faculties - mainly from the departments of physics, chemistry, and materials science - as well as technical schools in the country, particularly from the departments of electrical and chemical engineering. However, it is also addressed to high school physics teachers who want to give themselves a second chance to acquire the basic knowledge of quantum physics through a very short book written at the simplest possible level.

The book will soon be available in the format for which it was originally designed: that is, as an e-book with multiple capabilities compared to the printed version.
