If you want my love, know that this version is without the receiver, which means it is useless to you as it does not work without it. The receiver is not sold separately (for now). Personally, I lost my sixty bucks and from what I read on the internet, many people did too. I don't know if you buy the full version (the camera with the receiver included) you can connect a second one together, and I don't intend to risk it as the full version is very expensive for an experiment. When they start selling the receiver separately, I will find out if it is good... (if it still works after so much initial disappointment...)

Relatively easy installation. Clear image mainly during the day. Battery that does not require regular charging. The sound of the microphone is not good. I would prefer to be able to rotate the camera remotely.

1. Initially, it did not set up with a Samsung smartphone. It wanted Xiaomi. The Samsung connected with an invitation from the Xiaomi.
2. It connected and worked correctly and satisfactorily. Until the power went out for 5 minutes. They did not maintain the connection again and did not work for more than 5 minutes. I paid for something that does not work.

Purchased camera and gateway on 10/01/22. Purchased a second camera 10 days later. They worked for about 2 weeks.

Very good construction, but I would like there to be a sensitivity adjustment because it opens with the slightest touch and drains the battery.

I bought it after reading reviews from other buyers.
I didn't have any issues with its installation.
The only problem I'm facing and haven't solved so far is that I CANNOT change the camera's name through the settings, resulting in a Chinese name appearing on the image, which is annoying.

For me, it doesn't work as a security camera because to save battery, it starts recording and sending notifications very late. Also, it doesn't record for long, up to 30 seconds.
Ok. You get an idea of what is happening, but you don't have peace of mind knowing that if there is "action," you will capture it.
Also, like the other 4 Xiaomi cameras I have, they also give quite a few false alarms... e.g., Human Detected and it's a cat or branches moving in the wind.

There is no Xiaomi product that I have bought that wasn't perfect. The camera is amazing. Super easy installation, super easy operation, excellent quality, and very beautiful. Its battery is very powerful. It's been 20 days now and it has only dropped by 5% (with a recording frequency of about 10 times a day for 30" each time). For situations where you don't have power at the installation point and want a guaranteed solution, get it with your eyes closed!!!

Good clarity at night, let's clarify that it is not a security camera, you can just see the outdoor area where it is installed.
It was tested in heavy rain and did not present any problems, it maintains connection with the gateway without disconnections (distance of 5 meters), it does not send messages for small animals, overall for the job I got it for, I was very satisfied.
I still have not formed an opinion about the battery.
Battery - purchased 1/21 is at 70% satisfactory!

It keeps losing the signal. I have it installed at the estate. So I am forced to constantly uninstall and reinstall whenever I go there for it to work. The battery barely lasts a month. If you don't check it constantly

At first, it worked well!! I had set it to receive a notification for low battery at 20%, which never came to my phone!! Since then, I haven't been able to connect it again, whether I set the country as China or Greece!! It displays the message "Device is not connected, couldn't operate!!" It also doesn't recognize the SD card!! On the negative side, it doesn't continuously record videos, it only captures small clips!! The review comes after waiting for some time, hoping that an update would fix the problem, but in vain!! It's a shame for the money

The proposal of Xiaomi for outdoor installation.
Positives: easy installation, good battery, flexibility, good video quality, wide-angle video, expandable (you can add up to 4 cameras on the same gateway).
Negatives: expensive; the battery doesn't last long if you constantly watch live feeds.

I have two of these cameras for over 6 months.

positives:
1) wireless
2) long battery life
3) very good image during the day
4) easy installation for someone with knowledge.

negatives:
1) you need easy access to charge it, it needs to be charged about once a month
2) at night it doesn't have a good image and you can't distinguish faces.
3) It doesn't have continuous video recording, it records motion for 10 seconds and then it takes 3-4 minutes to record again, so it's not suitable for surveillance camera.
4) it doesn't rotate, it stays fixed
5) the company's application needs to be set to China, otherwise it doesn't recognize the camera.

In conclusion, it's not worth the money, a big failure from a company like Xiaomi.

I come back with a worse rating as after 2.5 years the battery broke, so the camera is not worth it at all.

I have had this camera in my possession for 40 days. When I installed it, the battery was at 75% and now, after so many days of continuous operation, it is at 35%. The consumption also depends on the settings you will make, of course.
It is one of the few (if not the only) security cameras that is truly wireless. I have placed it in an external location of the house where I did not want to pull power or ethernet. This camera solved my problem.
It has a very good image and a wide-angle lens to cover a large area. Needless to say, it is resistant to water and dust. It is very durable and sturdy.
The only negative thing I can say is that the base is not as stable after a short period of use. And because the weight of the camera is a bit heavy, it does not allow you to position the camera exactly where you want it to.
It is worth every penny and more. But not the price it is sold for in Greece. I bought it from China for a price lower than 50% (55€).
