We all have the right to speech and opinion, but it would be good if before we publish something that will stay written for a long time, we have researched it a little better. In a review, it was mentioned that the gun goes inside the salami. The person is using the metal rod that you have pre-installed for classic silicone cartridges. If they also used the round attachment that comes with the packaging, the tool would properly do its job!

Unfortunately, this particular sausage gun did not meet my expectations.
The trigger is not particularly functional, but the main reason for the low rating is something else.
Due to poor construction, the piston, instead of pushing all the sausage forward, basically at some point starts going inside it... This happens because the piston does not fit perfectly, resulting in gaps on the sides of the tube (which, moreover, is not completely circular). Obviously, as you can understand, since it doesn't work properly with sausage, you wouldn't even dare to use it with mortars!
The result is that in the end you struggle to remove the piston that has gotten stuck inside the sausage. Also, if you don't feel like doing alchemy with the leftover sausage to somehow collect it and reuse it, you throw away 30-40% of the product.
It's a pity, because other tools from this company have left me quite satisfied.

    Update 2025/11/03
I happened to visit my review for this product after years and read the second review that exists. I wonder how the conclusion was reached that I used the gun for sausage without adding the extra plastic accessory (which, in fact, can be seen—with some effort—even in the photo). Is it possible for someone to use a silicone gun for sausage or mortar only with the accessory meant for classic silicone packaging, which obviously leaves a huge gap from the tube? In such a case, the mortar will almost all come out as soon as you turn the gun even slightly sideways, and the piston will go into the sausage from the first pulls of the trigger...
I agree that everyone has the right to speak and have an opinion, but it would be good before we publish something that will remain written for a long time to be sure about what we write.
