The 6th edition, legally updated, of the work "The New Law of Limited Liability Companies" is a revised presentation of the provisions regarding limited liability companies.

The editorship of this edition is signed by the emeritus professor of the Faculty of Law at the University of Athens, Mr. Evangelos Perakis, who, with extensive and informative introductory observations, introduces the reader to the legal considerations surrounding the new Law 4548/2018 for limited liability companies, as it stands today.

This edition places emphasis on the new law 4548/2018 "Reform of the Law of Limited Liability Companies" (Government Gazette A' 104/13.6.2018), which is presented along with the article-by-article excerpts from the explanatory report and as improved by subsequent Laws 4587/2018, 4601/2019, 4609/2019, and the Legislative Decree of 27.6.2019.

As of 1.1.2019, the new Law 4548/2018 replaced the previous Law 2190/1920, except for the sections concerning corporate transformations, which were subsequently abolished with the implementation of the new Law 4601/2019 for corporate transformations. The new law includes all limited liability companies, even those subject to a special legislative regime, as long as nothing different is specified for them. Special provisions exist in the law for companies with shares or other securities listed on a regulated market.

At the same time, Law 2190/1920 is provided after the modifications it underwent with Law 4541/2018. Beyond the final form of Law 2190/1920, the editor of the edition deemed it interesting—both scientifically and historically—to include Law 2190/1920 "on Limited Liability Companies" in this legislative collection.

Of great interest is the table correlating the provisions of Law 4548/2018 and Law 2190/1920, which has been specifically prepared for this edition by Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law, H. Livada.

The work concludes with a series of legal texts divided into 6 major sections: 1. Establishment and registration of the company, 2. Publicity, 3. Shares and bonds, 4. Management of the company, 5. Accounting and auditing law, and 6. Corporate transformations.
