Description

Description

After spending his entire life teaching a system of knowledge that he transmitted to only a small circle of his students, George Ivanovich Gurdjieff decided shortly before his death, in October 1949, to publish the first series of his books, "All and Everything." Here his ideas take the form of a cosmological epic, a hyper-spatial adventure based on the myth of "Beelzebub," whose exile in our Solar System, before his final return to his place of birth, brings him into contact with the human race, whose strange habits and problems he describes with deep compassion and often with wonderful humor. The "all-wise Beelzebub," with his profound understanding of the weaknesses of human nature, shows the way that can lead to the reformation of man, through the development of his inner potentials and presents a teaching of rare value. This book re-discovers the path that man was destined to follow within the cosmic plan, from which he has strayed so far. There is no person who ever came into contact with Gurdjieff and was not impressed by him and the extent of his knowledge. There is no doubt that Gurdjieff has an important message for humanity, in this critical period of its history.
