The latest letters and articles by Vladimir Lenin, written between December 23, 1922, and March 2, 1923, hold special significance not only because they are the last works he authored before his death under extremely difficult circumstances.

They are also of interest because in this period Lenin expressed some of his thoughts, which he regarded as "the most serious" – about the future of the revolution, the Party and its leadership, the duties arising during the construction of socialism in the country, and the prospects of the global revolutionary movement.
