Well, I have had the monitor for 6 months and I can say that I am very satisfied, amazing image, 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color (it's a bit fake because it's not true 10-bit, it actually changes very quickly between two colors to make it appear as 10-bit, but it does the job, but I don't recommend it for professional use where you pay six-digit numbers).

Positives:
- Very good panel, almost no backlight bleed.
- The stand is sturdy and made of metal.
- The menu is user-friendly, with the new update it has both freesync and gsync although I haven't used them.
- If you have your PC and work laptop, you can switch between them with a macro, but you need to run the OSD sidekick, it doesn't transfer mouse and keyboard but you can use a USB KVM for $40 and you're good to go.

Negatives:
- It has some issues with the settings, for example, if you run the Aorus program, it may change your saves for brightness or quick settings, so you have to adjust it again from the program.

Overall, it is a very good monitor, the only reason it has a slightly high price is the 10-bit color, which is not worth it if you don't do work or don't have a very good GPU.

I was searching for a monitor for almost 5 months, trying to find the best one for me because I had a machine that I wanted something good to accompany it, so I chose to upgrade and go for a 1440p resolution and since in this price range there is no reason not to go for 144hz and above. So I was torn between VA and IPS panels after a lot of searching and a visit to stores that had both VA and IPS to mainly see the difference between the two panels that I heard so much about in terms of brightness and colors. I can say that I was disappointed with the color quality of the VA (although I would end up there) and somehow this helped me to settle on the IPS panel. Then I was torn between this one and the LG equivalent, the 27GL850-B, and in the end, I ended up with this one here because of its better appearance. My concern at first because of the IPS was the brightness compared to the VA because I didn't have any previous experience with a computer monitor, I only had temporary televisions, I can say that I was proven wrong with its brightness and its colors are impeccable, I truly saw the light. I haven't encountered any bleeding issues except for some discoloration that I notice in the corners, but I don't know if it's bleeding or IPS glow, either way, it doesn't bother me, I have owned it for 4 days and I can only say positive things since I don't have anything similar to compare it to. Its stand and construction are very sturdy and heavy, just like the overall screen, which personally gives me a sense of quality. It's truly flawless, I haven't tested it properly in games yet, but if anything changes, I will come back.

One of the best monitors that someone can find on the market for this price. Let's start with the image. Incredible colors. The screen is 10-bit, meaning it has 1 billion colors compared to most common monitors that have 16 million. The difference is obviously noticeable. It should be noted here that the 10-bit colors are only activated up to 120 Hz. If you want to reach 165 Hz, you will have to switch to 8-bit. In my opinion, it is much better to play a game at 120 Hz and 10-bit. After all, reaching 165 Hz requires a very powerful system to run a game, especially on high graphic settings. Response time is 1ms. There is nothing more to say about that. Even the most demanding gamer will be satisfied in this area. As for the construction, the only plastic is on the frame of the screen, which is necessary. The rest of the construction is aluminum and very well-made. Finally, the interface of the screen. It connects to the motherboard with USB 3.0 and you can adjust everything from the Aorus program. From there, you can also activate the screen's "hacks." The crosshair, which personally seems quite useful to me, and the aim stabilizer, which I have not used yet. There is also the ability to adjust the backlight on the back of the screen. Overall, this particular screen is definitely worth the money and I highly recommend it. Aorus has done a great job, and it shows from the first use of the screen.

Update May 28th, 2020.
Regarding G-sync, in order to activate it on the screen, you will need to download the latest firmware update (currently F03) from the official Aorus website and install it through the screen's program. After that, G-sync will be available both in the Nvidia Control Panel menu and in any game that supports it.

I consider the screen to be the best I have personally tested for gaming. Compared to the previous model, it has surpassed any issue (bleeding), while being only slightly more expensive than the corresponding higher-priced model in the series. It is top-notch, and below I will explain some of the reasons that make it the best value for a gaming monitor.

1. 2k 165Hz (real) 1ms on an IPS panel!!!
2. 10-bit color. From 16.7 million colors, we have gone to 1 billion and 76 million colors. The difference is huge. When placed next to another screen, the other one appears to have a problem and displays colors dimly.
3. It has incredible build quality. Aluminum base! It is the first screen I have encountered with such high-quality base materials.
4. Ergonomics? Ten out of ten.
5. It has a special filter that reduces blue light radiation and protects your eyes.
6. It has aim assist (you need to connect the screen to the motherboard with the special cable included in the package).
7. Very good menu with a plethora of options.
8. Compatible with freesync & HDR & Nvidia Gsync. It has it all. So, regardless of what graphics card you have, it will perform correctly on all of them. I still haven't figured out how to activate Gsync. I will come back with instructions.
9. It has very good performance for the price - it is worth every penny.
10. It is aesthetically beautiful, with LED lights on the back.
I chose it over the more expensive model because their only difference is that the more expensive model has a display port 1.4. How do you solve this? You buy a display port 1.3 cable, and for resolutions of 165Hz 2k, it will NEVER get clogged! Problem solved with an 8€ cable instead of paying a 180€ price difference.
11. AORUS service is super fast. They approved my RMA (which I only needed once), and they came and picked it up on time through a courier. Words are unnecessary. They are top-notch in everything. They come to your place, take it, repair it, and replace it. The whole process takes about 2 weeks because the screen will leave Greece and go to Belgium for replacement.
I recommend it to anyone whose budget allows it because of all the reasons mentioned above. It has nothing to envy from any more expensive screen on the market. You will love it.

(I am adding a positive edit 8 months after the initial purchase.
The screen is compatible with Nvidia's G-sync. It is fully compatible with RTX and GTX cards, etc. Somewhere around June, I think a very powerful firmware update was released that activates everything that the original menu did not have. So, for those of you who purchase it, it is worth downloading and upgrading the firmware (there is a YouTube video showing the process).

After extensive research, I purchased the monitor. I use it mainly for video editing and it is truly flawless! I believe it is the best in its category.
The notable features are as follows:
- The stand is very sturdy and has a nice design.
- The position of the screen can be adjusted as desired.
- High-quality image, with accurate calibration and correct colors.
- The menu, especially if you download the Gigabyte application, is very user-friendly, as all settings can be adjusted with the mouse. Additionally, the monitor has an abundance of functions, which I have yet to explore.
- Minimal blb and ips glow, which are only noticeable in absolute black.
- The RGB lighting is very nice, but I have it facing the wall, so you don't really notice it due to the brightness of the screen.

That's about it. If you have the financial means, don't even think twice!

P.S.: In comparison to the AD27QD, the only difference is in the hertz, but in most stores, the FI27Q is more affordable (608 versus 620).
