Biologos basil essential oil is extracted from the plant’s leaves by steam distillation and contains almost 80% methyl chavicol ether. It has a fresh, soft and mildly spicy aroma with a camphoraceous character, and a pale yellow colour.

The oil can be used in diffusers and for massage, and blends well with eucalyptus, lime, rosemary, yarrow, clove, bergamot and lemon essential oils.
