It arrived in my possession last Friday afternoon and after a full charge, it fit perfectly in my hand. Until today, in the early morning at 5:00 am when the battery dropped to 9% and I plugged it back in, it had not left my hand.

First of all, I should mention that this specific watch was not purchased with the intention of being constantly connected to my phone for calls and messages, as I have a headset for that purpose. The headset, although a 5-year-old Chinese one worth 3€, can connect to both phones simultaneously (Samsung S9 & Lenovo P1 Vibe). The usage I wanted for the watch was to measure my heart rate throughout the day and during bike rides, monitor my sleep, and of course, use it as a watch.

I downloaded the Zepp application from the Google Store, which was installed on both phones. However, for some reason, the watch prefers to connect to the Samsung (probably because I first opened it from that phone), so all the settings are done from there. Fortunately, the connection is automatic as soon as I close the headset, meaning only when I am at home, as the rest of the time calls are answered through the headset. I don't know if the watch's connection to the phone is used during the rest of the day when the headset is in use because I am at work, but now that I have the idea, I will look into it.

Among the screen faces, I prefer the pre-installed digital one and another digital one that I downloaded today and am using for testing. The analog ones (at least the ones I tried) have smaller indicators and the "hands" hide the measurements when they are on top of them.

Regarding the watch's applications, the sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, automatic screen activation when the device is turned upwards, 2 alarms, and real-time data transfer to another device are permanently open.

As for the exercise modes, I am only interested in walking, cycling, and outdoor activities, so for me, it is 100% value for money. Others may be looking for something different, so they can buy something else.

The build quality seems good, and in cases where it has come into contact with water (dishwashing and handwashing), it does not appear to have been affected, but only time will tell how long it will last.

So far, it has not been scratched or damaged, but for good and for bad, I will order a protective case and screen protector.

In conclusion, I can say that this specific watch is worth its price, but this is my personal opinion so far, as I have only had it for 2 weeks and it is the first one I have purchased. I will provide more feedback later.

So far, the phone is working as it should. The battery lasts for 10 days with continuous connection to the phone through the Zepp application.
I have put on a cheap (from China) plastic case, which has turned somewhat brown in the sun.
The strap is durable, does not come undone, but the hand sweats more easily in that specific area (expected), it collects dust on top of it and requires frequent cleaning. I clean it whenever I take it off for charging, simply by wiping it with a dry cloth. The external appearance of the strap has faded, especially in the clasp area and some other spots, but who cares as long as it does its job.

It has a problem in software design. The software was designed by someone who at best has never used the functions of the watch, at worst has never worn a watch other than a simple analog one. I got it to make my life easier, not to miss features that you find in a simple electronic watch for the last 30 years. I understand that it has a good price now (I got it for 72€ - hence the 3 stars), but I prefer it to do 5 things right, rather than claim it does 15 and not do almost anything right.

Positives:
-It has good build quality, it is beautiful, and the screen is clear.
-It notifies you of calls, giving you the option to mute or reject directly from the watch, very convenient when you are on a motorcycle or your phone is in your jacket.
-It displays the time, date, and steps (almost) always.
-I don't know if it has everything, but I consider Always on Display very important.
-The application has usability and settings issues, but overall it is acceptable and most problems stem from the watch.

Negatives, it is a watch that does not do basic things right.
-It has no sound. I am not interested in playing music and dancing, but a typical sound found in a 20€ Casio. Someone will say "Yes, but it has vibration"... First, you put the sound and then as an accompaniment, add the vibration.
-(From the previous negative), therefore its alarms are useless.
-I don't know what the programmer was thinking when they created the countdown... It is one of the few functions that does not close the screen and DOES NOT allow you to go to another function. Obviously, at Xiaomi they think that I set the countdown to know when a bomb will explode, so there is no more important information that may interest me... e.g. the time.
-The stopwatch is the same as the countdown.
-The weather syncs whenever it wants. That is, I am somewhere, I go 100km away, I look after 4 hours and it still shows me the weather of the previous location WITHOUT the ability to manually refresh. I understand that it may not do this automatically every now and then, but give me the ability to quickly press something and pull the information from the phone.
-It measures your pulse, after a while it turns off the screen, and when you look at it again, it has returned to the main screen. That is, a Garmin watch from the 20s that measures pulses, Xiaomi didn't think about the information you might want to see on a pulse watch...
-You can quickly go to only 2 functions (pulse, steps) and for ALL the others you have to enter a menu and sub-menu.
-It has 2 buttons that are useless. One is the on-off and the other only performs ONE function that you set. That is, almost decorative.
-The screen and even more so the Always on Display are underutilized, as it could show much more information simultaneously, and you wouldn't have to go to menus, etc. From something simple like if there is an active alarm, to something useful, such as a stopwatch, countdown, pulse, weather. All these could easily be shown permanently on the Always on display.

Very beautiful and practical, but don't choose it if you mainly want it for an activity tracker/GPS.

As many other users have mentioned, it has a small issue with the GPS. Sometimes it takes quite a while to lock on without an apparent reason in outdoor areas. Additionally, if the GPS is locked and you enter an indoor area, it will lose the GPS signal (normal), but in many cases, it will reconnect after about 10 minutes once you exit. I believe that the metallic construction may be the cause, as I never had such an issue with the plastic AMAZFIT BIP I had before.

Coming from the BIP, which had a battery life of 40 days, this one barely lasts me 15 days, I was expecting more, to be honest.

In the positives (especially compared to the BIP I had before):
-Luxurious appearance
-Very nice display with many watch faces
-Swimming mode
-Ability to set the alarm directly from the watch, not just from the application
-Battery as a positive, although I was expecting more autonomy

In the negatives:
-GPS doesn't lock satisfactorily
-The price could be cheaper. Around €80 would be perfect (considering the BIP is around €50 and they have similar functions)

In short, I switched from the BIP to the GTR simply to have a very beautiful watch on my wrist (paying double the price)

Good battery, nice screen but the GPS is a disaster. With the last 2 updates, it doesn't work at all, and before that, it would sometimes lose the signal momentarily and then regain it. Now, it doesn't even work with a request...
Those who claim that the GPS works flawlessly probably never used it or have very low standards. There is no other explanation.
It's a hardware issue and cannot be completely fixed with a software update. On the other hand, they can make it even worse, and they did...
EDIT: With a rollback to version 1.3.5.56 (amazfit 4.1.1v), things are manageable. It doesn't have the accuracy of a Garmin, but at least it locks quickly and if it loses the signal during the journey, it's only for a few seconds. It still sometimes shows you cutting through buildings, for example, but it's nothing compared to the mess of the latest version. This firmware seems to be the most stable and accurate in terms of GPS.
However, you shouldn't experiment with older versions and modded apps just to make it work correctly...

Well, I've been waiting for this watch for a while and the first impression is that it really looks like a piece of jewelry on your wrist.
Yes, it is a smartwatch, meaning a smart watch so we know what we're talking about, but no, it's not the most technologically advanced (phone answering, payment through the watch, speakers for music, etc.) but it remains a beautiful smartwatch.
Beautiful AMOLED screen even under the sun, fast response, countless watch faces especially with other applications from the Google store, and countless fitness and heart rate modes.
Funny that with the new sensor it doesn't have blood pressure and oxygen, maybe in a future upgrade.
Some lags, funny GPS that gets lost and found but overall an incredible little gadget watch.
Now, I got it for around 100€, it has gone up to around 150€ for some reason.
That being said, get it as soon as it drops a bit, it's almost a value for money and you will really enjoy it.

Update: 37 days after the first charge and the watch shows 18% with daily use, heart rate monitor on and continuous daily face changes, remember after the first charge when you put your charger because you will forget it exists.
