How to Sterilize Baby Bottles?

Sterilizing the bottle before use is very important, at least until your baby reaches 6-7 months, and always according to your pediatrician's guidance. Each bottle, depending on its material and usage instructions, has a specific cleaning process. First, wash it carefully with warm water and soap, using special brushes for cleaning to remove food residues.

Next, sterilization can be done in 2 ways:

  • By boiling: submerge all equipment in boiling water for 10 minutes, making sure beforehand that this method is suitable for your bottle and its parts.
  • With an electric sterilizer, always following the manufacturer's instructions. Some bottles can also be sterilized in a microwave oven.
