Ok, it had a plot that kept you awake. Not particularly though. Also, the writing and overall style is like watching an American movie.........for those who understand

  • It could have been better, but it's not bad. However, both Hole and Nesbo have spoiled us. It's definitely below the average of the series, but still a pleasant read.

The book of Nesbo with Hole that I got bored more than anything. While it creates a nice background for the villain, the rest of the story at some point tires with predictable twists

Description & Specifications

On a freezing night in Oslo, Christmas Eve, a crowd is gathered at an outdoor concert of the Salvation Army. An explosion interrupts the music, a uniformed officer falls dead, shot at close range in the head.

Harry Hole and his team have few leads: there is no suspect, no murder weapon, and no motive. However, when the killer discovers that he has murdered the wrong person, things begin to get complicated.

Thanks to the intensive work of his team, Harry manages to track down the hired killer (through credit cards, a fake passport, and communications with his employer). Left with no money, only six bullets in his gun, and without a roof over his head, the killer becomes increasingly desperate. He will do anything to eliminate his target.
