Refractory material of exceptional temperature resistance developed within the hearths and chambers of ovens. It is intended for the construction and jointing of all types of refractory bricks in grills, BBQs, fireplaces, chimneys, or for coating old ovens. It is used as a sealing medium in the joints of asbestos-cement pipes (flues in central heating). Essential for the restoration of detached firebricks.

Instructions for Use: Firebricks must be cleaned of dust, mud, or sand. If the temperature is high, moisten them with a little water to ensure workability and correction time. In a clean container, mix “STARK 1200” with water in the appropriate ratio and stir until a homogeneous and cohesive paste is formed. 25 kilograms of material require 5.7 liters of water. Wait 3 to 4 minutes and then begin the construction with a suitable trowel. The jointing is done with the same product. Excess material is removed before the paste sets, and the surface is cleaned with a damp sponge to prevent stains from dried clay on the firebricks. The use of the hearth can begin after 3 days from the construction.

Consumption: 4 to 6 kilograms per m² depending on the size of the refractory elements and the width of the joints.
