Satire has the innocence of a child who does not consider the consequences. If I start to compromise this innocence, I will not be creating satire but rather a news bulletin. Satire is not based on balance but on imbalance. Humor is, of course, more popular than authority. But that does not mean it has more power than it: it does not decide the lives of people, while authority does decide, often unfairly.
Humor is like looking at the sky: whoever you are, if you look up, it creates the same uplifting feeling. People feel relief when they hear their own thoughts loud and clear. A free satirical show dispels fear from the world. And only a society that is not afraid can create.
Lakis Lazopoulos
We laughed, felt moved, reacted, and were stirred while watching "Al-Tsantiri News." Now Mitso, Helenitsa, Chrysoula, and the other heroes of our daily lives leave the studio for a while and occupy the printing house. Enjoy the most hilarious and biting texts of recent years without a remote control. And alongside, the confessions of Lakis Lazopoulos to Fotis Apergis about old wounds and new miracles. About the markers he loves and the bribe-takers he struggles with. About everything that stirs him and everything that excites him.
