1.-The publication of the Proceedings of the Political Committee for National Liberation (PEEA), the Government of the Mountain, is a significant act. It is a document of great historical importance, the study of which is necessary for all Greeks, especially for the fighters of the Left and Progress, and particularly for the youth.

2.-The pages of this document record the discussions and decisions of the Committee. It demonstrates the positive role of all political forces that, integrated into the EAM, managed to proceed with the completion of the procedures for forming the government of the Mountain. The positions of the Committee members and its decisions reveal the PEEA's pursuit of unity among the people and the nation in the struggle against the Hitler-fascist conquerors, for national liberation and popular sovereignty.
